You know what? Everyone looked away and giggled. Shortly after, I emailed my astrologist in hopes this loneliness would all go away. I still have no idea what to do! Nothing was helping and I needed some damn help. Chuck, who was just deployed on military commission recommended that I join Great Expectations. I said, “That would do the trick.” I have some good friends. I especially enjoy Great Expectations Denver.

At the time, meeting new singles through dating services was new because I’m a traditionalist of sorts. I showed up already a little anxious, that I spilled a glass of wine on my blazer. That mess could not put an end to another incredible Great Expectations event. That night I enjoyed was a great way to start at Great Expectations. The gems of the occasion had to be the honest, desirable singles.

Appearing at these splendid Great Expectations Dallas singles events and mixers, I got in touch with quite a few winners who I could tell share a like-minded spirit while being in this kind of fun, sophisticated company. Can’t imagine why I used to let anyone get on my back about me being single at my age. Surprisingly enough, dating with Great Expectations is a lot of fun and like a dream come true.

Lonely No More

Last Monday I was walking the dog, Trisha, considering buying a membership to Great Expectations Dallas. You prolly couldn’t guess that, I stand to the blogosphere as a delightfully single member of the singles network. Seriously, and I almost don’t believe it myself! Its very comfortable and full of nice people! If you have read my old blog, you may be wondering, “You got some ’splainin to do, Lucy!”

Well, I saw these Great Expectations Reviews and liked what I saw. They’re for quality and professional singles who think dating doesn’t have to be so frivolous and stupid.

Because in all honesty I’d never enjoyed or even tolerated what my friends and my family have named “The Dating Experience.” I faced it more than anyone should. Day and night friends nagg, “Are you seeing somebody?” and “You should date!”

“That’s rubbish,” I reply, smiling ear to ear. “Have you seen what’s out there?”

“Whatever doofus,” they reply. “You haven’t dated in a year, you wouldn’t know!”

Thankfully, that’s my friend (she’s the best) (hehe) Sandy McCarthy. She beams common sense to my brain 99% of the time. Loved ones never fail to offer perspective. She made a good point, and I joined.

Back to the meaning of this post. As I picked from more than three hundred combinations of outfits for my first singles event with Great Expectations, I realized something deep. For years, I hadn’t entertained too many actual great expectations for dating and myself in the serendipitous path of this world. Single life has its perks, even more so with healthy optimism. Embracing your own great expectations does wonders for those who believe.
