Vivek Kundra plus Facebook Equals Town Hall Meeting Two. Zero
Saturday, February 27th, 2010In an era when you are likely to have more friends on the Internet than in the real world, Web 2.0 way of life cannot be overlooked. And for the first time ever, the Federal government is no longer disregarding it either. With a Presidential campaign actuated by the Internet, it should be no shock that the Obama Administration, specifically Vivek Kundra, is employing the Internet to plug in with the American people. This Gov 2.0 initiative is all about transparency of government and participation of the American people.
As far as Vivek Kundra is concerned, executing Information Technology initiatives that are forward-looking and economical is priority. It is his desire that these initiatives can assist in getting more information to the American public, as well as promote and ease efficient communication through technological advances between United States government authorities. The technical system he is currently supervising for the Federal government will utilize open source coding and cloud computing, as well as many other insightful methods that will, in the end, enable the Federal government to achieve the Web 2.0 goals that presently seem tough but not impossible.
Vivek Kundra is responsible for paring government Information Technology expenditure. He is doing so with efficient strategy and an underlying resolve to connect U.S. citizens to their United States government and alter the way the two interact and commune with each other. Now is the time to reshape the Federal government and Vivek Kundra is doing just that with forward-thinking, expertise and determination. Vivek Kundra plays a substantial role in ensuring the United States government operates at streamlined and secure levels.
